This much sought after location, famous for it's legend of Gelert, is an ideal location for exploring the many attractions of North Wales.
The national park itself has much to offer the keen walker or climber with it's mountains and forests. It also has many interesting tourist attractions such as the Snowdonia steam railway and the Sygun copper mine.
Only twelve miles away is the town Caernarfon, with it's majestic castle. Harlech Castle is also only a short drive away, as is the village of Porthmerion, made famous by the cult TV series "The Prisoner".
In the village itself are several craft shops. An evening stroll along the Glaslyn river can be completed by a visit to one of the village hotels / pubs, all offering excellent food and a welcome atmosphere.
